So they put their hands to the good work" (Nehemiah 2:18). </div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>Current situation</U></B></div> <bR> <div> God is great, the <B><U>project is complete</U></B> to see pictures <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#0000FF" FACE="Arial" ><A HREF="filiasichurchpictures.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Filiasi Church pictures"><U><B><U>click here</U></B></U></A></FONT></div> <div> Praise the Lord the foundations for the church have been laid, we await the actual Church building from the America Baptist Church 23/3/3.</div> <bR> <div> We have sent the Second amount of money to lay the foundations of the new Church. 26/9/2002</div> <bR> <div> We have sent the first amount of money over to buy the land for the Church.</div> <div> 14/5/2002</div> <bR> <div> 16/6/2002 Praise the Lord the land is now bought.</div> <bR> <div> <B><U>The Need</U></B></div> <div> The church presently meets in the front room of a brothers house. This situation is becoming seriously untenable and therefore by far the greatest priority is for the church to find a new location.</div> <bR> <div> There is a scheme running in Romania at the moment where an American organisation is providing the Romanian Baptist Union with four prefabricated church buildings per annum for the first four churches to offer a foundation upon which to build. These buildings are to be offered free of charge.</div> <bR> <div> A plot of land in the town centre has already been found and the request is to help purchase it at a price of $4000 quickly to qualify for free building.
